About Me

I'm Kane, from Cardiff


Dancer, Choreographer I was born on 27th May 1990, in Cardiff, Wales.


My first experience of the stage was performing with the Welsh National Opera company at
the age of 6, where I played the role "Trouble," In the opera "Madam Butterfly".


Although a keen sportsman, growing up I continued to pursue my love of dance, inspired by Michael Jackson and Justin Timberlake, I joined a local community dance troupe.


At 14 years old, I grasped the opportunity to audition for a local radio station troupe, and
joined the company and started to explore a serious career in dance, experimenting with
different styles of dance and choreography.


Break dancing, popping and commercial dance gave me the opportunity to compete and perform nationally, winning many UDO titles including 1st in the World Championship 2006.


Encouraged and determined to make a life in the world of dance at 16 years I attended a full time dance foundation course, focusing on developing new styles, ballet,
contemporary and jazz techniques.


I continued to develop these skills at Liberatus Performing Arts, my dedication and commitment evidenced when I achieved a scholarship to Millennium Dance, London.


I've worked with Major choreographers like Brian Friedman, Fatima Robinson, Amy
Allen, Draico Johnson, Charm LeDonna and Sisco Gomez.


I've also danced with many successful artists e.g. Nicole Sherzinger, Little Mix, One Direction, Alexandra Burke, Jason Derulo, Justin Bieber and Cheryl Cole.


I've gained lots of experience dancing in ‘stadium concerts’ to TV, frequently on The X Factor, The Voice, BGT and touring American and Canada.


My other passion besides performing, is my fitness lifestyle! To stay at the top of my game, I taken my health, image and fitness to the next level. When not in the dance studio or on stage I'm in the gym.


My training is very well rounded from weight lifting and plyometrics to HIIT and yoga.


I'm always training to push myself to be the most explosive, dynamic, efficient athlete I can be and to always to stay consistent.


Nutrition

With my lifestyle, everyday is different! This does make it hard to have a meal plan and set meal times. I life a IIFYM style diet but eating mostly “clean” foods, meaning I get my food in when it is convenient according to my schedule as I may have a 8 hour rehearsals or 12 hour shoot.


However, my breakfast is the same almost everyday

Shoulders


5 mins on cardio equipment and shoulder rotational work to warm up



  • Rear delt Fly (reverse peck deck)

  • 2 warm up sets

  • 4 x 12-20 reps

  • Handstand push ups

  • 3 x 10-15 reps

  • Seated DB press (increase the weight each set)

  • 18,16,12,10,8

  • Iso-lateral Side lateral raise

  • 4 x 10- 15 reps each side

  • Superset

  • Do all 3 exercises as 1 rep
